Na ta način bomo prikazali dobre prakse krožnega gospodarstva v gradbeništvu in z dobrim zgledom vodili k nadaljnjim korakom konceptov krožnega gospodarstva v mestu Maribor.

Projekt CWC (https://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.

Cooperation between the projects CINDERELA and City Water Circles (CWC)

In the city of Maribor, the cooperation of companies that are predominantly publicly owned and that already provide public services for residents is intensively focused on the fundamental principles of the transition from a linear to a circular economy. Only close cooperation between public companies, citizens, industry, and local government can lead to a successful interconnected system that optimizes resources and results - economic, environmental, and social. One of the good practices is the cooperation between Nigrad and the Mariborski vodovod (Maribor Water Supply) within the framework of two EU projects: CINDERELA and City Water Circles (CWC).

The CWC project and the CINDERELA Project are connected: we at the CINDERELA project are testing the use of purified wastewater and rainwater at our demo construction site. Based on the test of the use of various proportions of these two different types of water in the mixture of secondary raw materials (SRM), we will determine and prove the further applicability in the production of these materials.

The colleagues from Mariborski vodovod (Maribor Water Supply) prepared a video about the collaboration of the two projects, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9d9rB0XuTo

The CWC project (https://www.interreg-central.eu/Content.Node/CWC.html) is coming to a successful conclusion. At the end of May, the City Water Circles (CWC) project conference in Maribor was held. Our external expert, Ms. Nuša Lazar was a speaker at the conference and presented the experience of Nigrad and Maribor Water Supply (Mariborski vodovod) within these two projects, and the project's long-term effects on the transition to a circular economy in the local environment were also discussed.

The final conference of the City Water Circle was at the beginning of June in Split, Croatia. Colleagues from Nigrad, who is a stakeholder of the project, participated in the final thematic meeting as well as the final conference. The results of the cooperation of the two mentioned projects were also presented during the final event. Nigrad, as well as Maribor Water Supply (Mariborski vodovod) are very proud of the successful cooperation.
