V projektu URGE (https://urbact.eu/urge), katerega partner je tudi Nigrad d.o.o. in ga sofinancira Evropska komisija v okviru programa URBACT, se z začetkom meseca avgusta zaključuje. V tem projektu devet evropskih mest sodeluje pri razvoju najsodobnejšega pristopa za vključevanje načel krožnega gospodarstva v gradbenem sektorju. Namen projekta je doseči vpliv na lokalni ravni in sicer z mednarodno izmenjavo dobrih praks in znanja ter da se osnuje lokalna mreža zainteresiranih deležnikov za sooblikovanje lokalnega akcijskega načrta. Ta lokalna mreža deležnikov se imenuje URBACT Local Group (ULG). Z lokalno skupino URBACT (ULG) smo skupaj opredelili glavne teme o vključevanju krožnih načel v gradbenem sektorju, ki se jih na Nigradu želimo posebej lotiti na lokalni ravni.

Predlogi, ideje in pobude, ki so jih člani ULG podali na vseh naših preteklih sestankih, so bili (kolikor je mogoče) tudi vključeni v naš integrativni akcijski načrt - Integrated Action Plan (IAP).

Pripravljen IAP je dokument, ki opredeljuje ukrepe, ki jih je treba izvesti, postavlja načrtovane časovne okvire, odgovornosti za izvajanje, stroške, vire financiranja, kazalnike spremljanja in oceno tveganja za predlagane ukrepov. Vključuje pa naslednje segmente: kontekst mesta, izzive, vizijo in cilje, s katerimi se sooča Nigrad ter akcije in aktivnosti z načrtovanim časom in odgovornostmi, vire in analizo tveganja ter Nigradov prikaz primera krožnega gospodarstva v gradbeništvu – Small Scale Activity (SSA): klopce s stojalom za kolesa.

S ponosom sporočamo, da je vodstvo Nigrada sprejelo pripravljeni integrativni akcijski načrt (IAP). Slavnostno smo le-tega tudi predali direktorju, podjetja, gospodu Matjažu Krevelju.

Prava tako pa smo izvedli v juliju tudi zaključno srečanje ULG, katerega smo nekoliko širše izvedli in pripravili ter na le-tega ob članih ULG povabili tudi vse druge deležnike projekta. Srečanje je potekalo v Dogošah, kjer ima Nigrad demonstracijske objekte za izvajanje aktivnosti krožnega gospodarstva v gradbeništvu. Z udeleženci srečanja smo delili naše izkušnje iz različnih projektov na to temo ter jim tudi predstavili naš IAP in akcije, ki jih Nigrad na osnovi pripravljenega IAP izvaja oz. jih še bo izvajal v naslednjih 3 letih.

Iskreno se zahvaljujemo vsem našim članom ULG za njihovo podporo in pomoči tako med samimi preteklimi srečanji, kakor tudi na splošno v času projekta in izvajanja projektih aktivnosti. Hvala tudi vsem ostalim deležnikom, ki so se udeležili zaključnega srečanja projekta in z veseljem izvedeli več o uspešnosti projekta in akcijah.

Finalization of the URGE project

Nigrad, d. o. o., is participating in the URGE Project (https://urbact.eu/urge), co-funded by the European Commission through the URBACT programme. In this project, nine European cities cooperate to develop a state-of-the-art approach for integrating circular principles in the building sector. URGE aims to design integrated urban policies on circularity in the building sector – a major consumer of raw materials. The result is an in-depth understanding of this theme and the first plan for a tailor-made methodology that allows the circular dimension to be widely integrated into the large construction tasks the URGE partnership is facing. URGE thus accelerates the transition towards a circular economy. The project aims to reach impact at the local level and learn from each other in a transnational context, and secondly by creating a local network of stakeholders to co-produce a Local Action Plan. This local network of stakeholders is called the URBACT Local Group (ULG).

The proposals, ideas, and initiatives that ULG members gave at all our past meetings were (as far as possible) also included in our Integrated Action Plan (IAP).

The prepared IAP is a succinct document defining actions to be implemented, covering the planned timings, implementation responsibilities, costings, funding sources, monitoring indicators, and risk assessment of the actions. It covers the following segments: City context, Challenges, Vision and objectives, Actions & activities with scheduled time and responsibilities, resourcing, and risk analysis as well as Nigrad’s Small Scale Action (SSA): benches with bicycle rank.

We are proud to announce that the management of Nigrad has adopted the prepared integrative action plan (IAP). We also ceremoniously handed it over to the director of the company, Mr. Matjaž Krevelj.

Now in July also the final ULG meeting was held, which we conducted and prepared a bit differently, and invited all other project stakeholders along with the members of the ULG. The meeting took place in Dogoše, where Nigrad has demonstration facilities for the implementation of circular economy concepts in the construction sector. We shared our experiences from various projects on this topic with the participants of the meeting and also presented them with our IAP and the actions that Nigrad implements and will implement on the basis of the prepared IAP in the next 3 years.

We sincerely thank all our ULG members for their support and help during the past meetings, as well as in general during the project and the implementation of project activities. Thanks also to all the other stakeholders who attended the final event of the project and were happy to learn more about the success of the project and the actions.
